Academic qualifications

  • Master of Arts in organizational Leadership and Management from Uganda Christian University Mukono.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Sociology & Social Administration) from Makerere University Kampala.

  • Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and lndustry in collaboration with Project Planning and Management Advisory Trust.

Work experience

Has over 15 years of work experience with NGOs at different levels, i.e. senior, middle and lower levels.

Has 9 years’ experience as a Leadership Training Consultant/ Learning Facilitator; with Development Associates International. Has facilitated different course modules including; Culture, Ethnicity and Diversity, Fundraising, Integrity and Financial Management, Teaching and Learning for Impact, Development and Social Change, Partnerships, Strategic Management, Research Methods, Servant Leadership.

Has facilitated the above course modules to various classes of leaders in different countries, including at Uganda Christian University, Mukono-Uganda; Light University of Bujumbura-Burundi; AAI-DU, Allahabad, U.P., Mumbai-India; Forman Christian College in Lahore-Pakistan, and ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja, Kwara State-Nigeria at their various centres in Ibadan, Kaduna and Abuja,

  • Certificate in Public Administration and Management from Institute of Adult and Continuing Education, Department of Community Education and Extra-Mural Studies, Makerere University.

  • Certificate in Celebrating Children from CaRNaC Uganda.

Work experience

Charity is a self-motivated leader with extra ordinary interpersonal and communication skills in advocacy, lobbying and networking. She has practical managerial skills, with capabilities to organize, coordinate, supervise and motivate teams, a competence she has built over time. She is extremely good at coordinating donor funded programmes and meeting timely deadlines and producing tangible results.

Charity is the Finance Manager at Mukono Child Development Centre, A Compassion International assisted project based at Deliverance Church Mukono, a position she has effectively handled for the last ten years.

ANNE RUTH OWERE NAPIA

Academic qualifications

  • Certificate in Grade Three Education.

  • Diploma in Teacher Education with a speciality in Nutrition and Home Management Skills.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant

Work experience

Anne is a focused leader with special passion for the communities in need especially women and girls. Her heart beat is to equip women and girls with vocational and other employable skills that can enable them to break the vicious cycle of poverty.

Anne has 26 years of work experience, spanning from a class room teacher in a primary school, Tutor in a Primary school teacher training college, Child Development officer.

In 2010 she moved to California-USA with her family, and immediately was trained as a Certified Nursing assistant. From 2011 she worked with Convalescents and Senior Citizens at Courtyard Healthcare Centre, from 2017 to date, Anne is working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at California Medical Facility in Vacaville, California-USA.

Anne is the vision bearer and one of the Founders of Ravens Foundation and our resource mobiliser based in California-USA.
